Dr. Stevie D. McKinney
Born the fifth child of Theodis and Earnestine McKinney, he accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of seventeen. He delivered his first public sermon in Smithville, Mississippi. At the age of nineteen he pastored his first church in Holly Springs, MS. He has pastored churches in his native state of Mississippi, Georgia, Michigan and Illinois.
He is married to Mississippi native, Mrs. Deborah (Doss) McKinney. They are the parents of daughter, Savannah Renee’ McKinney.
Dr. McKinney is a 1998 graduate of Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi where he earned and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. In 2001, he graduated with honors and was awarded a Master’s of Divinity Degree with a concentration in Christian Education from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA. In 2008, he graduated from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX with the Doctor of Ministry Degree.

Dr. McKinney is the proud pastor of People’s Community Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. He continues to live by the motto “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13.
